Philosophy

 The Stateline Jammers AAU club feels strongly that school sports should

Be the first choice of students in the spring. It is important to understand

That AAU is a fantastic program but should not hurt existing school sport

By having students making choices.

It is also the philosophy of the Jammers Club to be teachers. Fundamentals

And skills are the backbone to the success of High School Teams. So it is

Important that we TEACH. Those that join the Jammers will work

Heavily on their skill which include, but not limited to, ball handling, man to man, boxing out and shooting.

Those that are playing a spring sport for their school this is what I encourage.  

I believe that school sports are very

          important.  If you have a game or practice during AAU practice

I encourage you to attend the school sport.  If we have

          any games on a weekend where you have a school sport or game

you will be encouraged to attend the school sport.  I

          will not want to play you in a weekend

game if your school sport is being played.  

          Lets make sure we know what AAU should be all about.  It is about learning and developing.  

Enjoy other sport and

          don’t put your entire life into basketball.  

This AAU program will give you the basics and develop your skill to help you

          to become a better player.
