Great weekend at the Gator Tourney in Mass this weekend May 2-3, 2009 11 team went 3-1 Wins over Mass, BPE Heat; Wakefield Explosion, Lady Mavericks, and lost a 3 point game to Mass Lady Warriors. 13 Team went 1-3 The 13 team ran saw some very good teams this weekend. Losses to NE Lady Panthers, Maine Firecrakers, Mass. BPE Heat Before leaving Town with a big win over Mass Lions League Basketball Club. |

May 9-10, 2009 Shamrock Shootout Great weekend The 11 Under team went 4-0 upending the third place team in state {Lady Mavricks} by 4. They also beat Eastern Lakes, Strafford County Stars and N.H. Wolverness in the finals ---------------------------- The 12/13 team went 1-3 started out the weekend with 2 point loss to Eastern Lakes. A shot at the buzzer was made but the clock had run out. The 13 team won the next game over Vermont Lady Hoopster. On Sunday they played well but came up short in loses to Oyster River and Strafford County Stars. |
May 16-17, 2009 Lady Twisters Tournament
What a great weekend for both teams The 11 and under team went 4-0 ran through the tourney with impressive wines over Strafford County Stars-2, Penacook Pride, Strafford County Stars-A and Lebanon Voltage ------------------------------------------------ The 12/13 went 2-2 team started out on Saturday with win over Strafford County Stars {who beat the Stateline Jammers last week}, and N.H. Lady Twisters. But on Sunday the team only had 6 players and called on the 11 team to help out. They came within 3 points of knocking off the top team as the 13 team and the 11 combined team played a great game. The team ended up losing a tough game to the NH Flames by 1 point in the final. |
May--23-24, 2009 Merrimack River AAU Invitational TEAMS: 11/13 AT: Manchester, NH One the best weekends we have had for basketball The 11 team had a good weekend going 3-1. Saturday they started out with a 12 pt win over N.H. Lady Wolverines and win over Strafford Stars. Sunday found the team match up with a much larger N.H. Silver Bullets but came out with a large win. But in the final game vs the North Central Blaze {third place finishers int he Mass. State Championships} the team came up short by 8 points as they played without Holly and lost Linday in the second half with an hand injury and the Jammers leading by two. But playing a much taller team the six Jammers left could not keep the much taller Blaze off the Boards. The Jammers made a great showing in playing much taller teams this weekends.
The 13 Team really had a great weekend. They went 2-2 but with a little luck could have gone 4-0. They started out by losing to the Merrimack Attach by 6, but led with 8 minutes left. They came back and knocked off the N.H. Sliver Bullets on Saturday. On Sunday the team won a 1 point ball game over South Central Sharks and then in the final game lost an overtime game to the 13 champions. The 12/13 team played hard all weekend.

June--6-7, 2009 Sat/Sun --Seacoast Shootout I TEAM: 12 -----AT: Durham, N.H. A different type of weekend with the some of the 11 team joining the 12 players. The team went 1-3 The weekend started out by playing the team from Ma. that finished second in the State. Seaside Sizzie that eventually went 4-0. We played them tough but came up a couple hoops short. We were the only team that came close to beating them. The second game we lost by 8 to the Granite State Lady Cats. On Sunday we played the Vt. Lightning Black and lost in double overtime. We came back and beat the Thunderbirds by 10 in the final game. This was one the best weekends for competitive basketball. Every game we were in and every game we had the opportunity to come out with a win.

STATELINE JAMMERS CLASSIC June 13-14, 2009 11 and 13 Teams Colby-Sawyer New London, N.H. What a great weekend Both the 11 and 13 team went 4-0 The 11 team played in their division on Saturday beating the N.H. Lady twisters and Atlantic Belles. On Sunday they moved up and played in the 12 division and took wins over Mack Attack from Arlington, Vt. and Lady Rebs from Meredith The 13 team started the weekend with wins over Eastern Lakes and Saranac Cardinals from N.Y. on Sunday they won games over N.H. Lady Twisters and Sharks from Springfield, Vt.
